Minecraft – Survivng Your First Night

The very first thing you need to keep in mind when you start trying to play Minecraft is that whenever you meet your death, anything you were holding is going to be dumped on the ground in the place that you died, and then you’ll respawn where you first started in the minecraft universe. So what this means is never go off wandering with all the things you have and not leave a path for you to find the right path home. If you are able to find your way back on time you are able to get back your things you dropped, but they wont remain there forever.
Seeing that we have that dealt with why don’t we get into it. When you initially start off in your own randomly created minecraft universe you’ll have nothing. And so the 1st course of action is to find a tree. When you have found a tree, start to hit the tree. You will notice the tree begins to break down and soon after a few seconds you will have a wooden block. Collect 10-15 of those before you begin to craft some tools.
First thing to do now is build a work bench, find a good location where you may want to build your house and put it down. Something you are going to need for the first night is coal. In minecraft coal can be used to craft torches, which will light up spaces and most importantly prevent enemies from spawning in that spot. So if you don’t have some coal, a few minecraft baddies may possibly spawn inside your very home.
I would suggest creating a pickaxe and possibly a spade first from wood, until you will be able to acquire some rock to create stone tools. If there isn’t time to get some stone then start digging a nice hole (in the side of a hill/mountain works well) to safeguard you through the night. Now that you have a home stick some torches inside and wait out the terrifying minecraft night. After the night time is over you’ll be greeted by the lovely minecraft sunrise which will eliminate the bloodthirsty zombies and skeletons.
Well done! You’ve just lived through your very first minecraft night. Now you can start to construct huge structures, explore to the ends of the universe or perhaps sail the oceans, or whatever else you can think of. The minecraft world that’s created randomly is 8x the size of the earth, so you’ll likely never reach the edge.
If you don’t understand, die a lot or would just like to have a nicer minecraft experience a number of people have created videos for this issue. Search on youtube for surviving your first night in minecraft!
Another thing to enhance your minecraft experience is minecraft skins! Minecraft skins are little images that you download and then apply them to your character so that you look like whatever you want. There are many sites where you can download minecraft skins. Free minecraft skins is the best one I have found. Give it a shot!
